Minuet in G Major
About This Piece
This is one of the most beloved beginner piano pieces in the world. Originally thought to be composed by J.S. Bach for his wife Anna Magdalena, it was later attributed to Christian Petzold, a German organist and composer.
The piece is written in G Major with a simple 3/4 time signature, making it perfect for practicing hand coordination and introducing Baroque ornamentation (mordents) to early piano students.
